The MG-45 has a built-in 3.5-inch HDD. As the price of 3.5-inch HDDs is the lowest compared to other sizes, users can easily install up to 500GB of disk space for storing digital movies.

The MG-45 has a USB2.0 slave port. It provides an alternative way to download digital contents from the PC. Contents in USB storage devices can be played directly.

The MG-45 can be purchased without a 3.5-inch HDD. In this case, it can be a low-cost DMA without HDD.

The MG-45 can be configured in collaboration with web-based movie distributors as a set-top box or media gateway to access, play and/or download legal movies from the website directly without a home PC.
